Shoe Musings...
I've been thinking a lot about the prefect wedding shoes. I saw these beauties on a blog a while back but was unfortunately too late to purchase them. They are perfect. The duck egg blue colour I'm so obsessed with, the shape, the heel... oh I just can't get them out of my head damn it!
I think these Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes are adorable for a wedding. They add a splash of colour too which is something I definitely want. However, I'm not sure about wearing plastic shoes with my pretty vintage dress, something about it doesn't sit right with me. What do you think?
These Manolo Blahnik's are classic and sexy and would go well with my dress I think. They are also easy to get second hand on Ebay, but I don't think those stiletto heels are a good idea for an outdoor wedding.
I LOVE these Chie Mihara t-straps, what a gorgeous colour!! Good for dancing on grass and I'd wear them again and again. I might have a hard time finding them second hand on Ebay, but worth a try!
Who am I kidding, I just really want those first blue vintage shoes. the new ones don't even come close. Sigh....

I adore those T-straps and they would be so wearable again and again and again :-)
ReplyDeleteI think the first pair IS the best. They're really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI don't plan on wearing heels at my wedding. Something simple like a ballet flat for me. (I really just CANNOT wear heels anymore. Car accident.)
I hadn't even thought about wearing flats! lol. It would work well with the grass issue. I don't often get the opportunity to wear heels though, so I try to use every special occasion possible!
ReplyDeleteHello Tania!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Anita from São Paulo, Brazil. I just found your blog by clicking on the link: "Following a handcrafted vintage wedding" - from Dottie Angel's blog.
Your blog and ideia are lovely!
I would suggest Vivienne Westwood for Melissa for you to wear at the wedding. Besides being beautiful, creative, made in Brazil (=]), they are eco-friendly and comfortable, I swear! Melissa also wear well with a nice pair of jeans.
Best wishes,
Kiss!
